Congratulations to the SCCO Class of 2018
Marshall B. Ketchum University's Southern California College of Optometry held its 114th Annual Ceremony on May 23, 2018 in Anaheim, Calif.The University conferred 100 Doctor of Optometry degrees, along with two Master's Degrees in Vision Science. University President, Kevin L. Alexander, OD, PhD, presided over the ceremony and SCCO Dean Mark Bullimore, MCOptom, PhD, presented the candidates for the Doctor of Optometry degree.

Graduate Highlights: SCCO Class of 2018
At first glance, the journey of Moena Dean, SCCO Class of ’18, to graduation May 23, 2018 from MBKU’s Southern California College of Optometry might appear especially stressful. The 2018 class valedictorian gave birth to her two children — now ages three and one — while in optometry school. But Dean says her young family — and the joy they brought her — actually provided stress relief and intensified her sense of mission as she pursued her degree in a profession she loves. When Kallie Kappes, SCCO, ’18, graduates May 23, 2018, from Marshall B. Ketchum University’s Southern California College of Optometry and moves her graduation cap tassel to the left, she will have fulfilled a dream she’s held since fourth grade.
