Dr. Raymond Chu received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry, after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego. He completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University and has remained on faculty since that time. Dr. Chu went on to also complete a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology at the California State University, Fullerton.

At present, Dr. Chu serves as an investigator on a number of National Eye Institute (NEI) supported studies, and as a lecturer both in the university and nationally. His research interests include binocular vision, myopia, amblyopia, pediatric optometry, learning-related vision problems, and pedagogy.
