Scott Johnson completed his Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2010 and has worked as a librarian since 2011. He joined Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2015 as the Education/Technology Librarian, and he helped to redesign the library website and provided in-person and online research instruction to students and faculty. Scott was promoted to Director of Library Services in 2017. He is responsible for developing library plans and objectives, implementing new technologies, and managing the library's financial resources. Scott is a member of the Medical Library Association (MLA) and the Association of Vision Science Librarians (AVSL). He is currently the AVSL Website Committee chair and has presented research at the MLA annual conference on collection development for Physician Assistant (PA) library resources. Scott is a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP), a peer-reviewed credential program based on career development.
