Biography

Dr. Amanda Tran is an Assistant Professor at Marshall B. Ketchum University College of Pharmacy who joined the faculty in 2025. She completed two years of post-graduate residency training with a focus on ambulatory care and academia during which she gained teaching experience at both Touro University and the University of Washington. Prior to her current role, Dr. Tran served as an Assistant Professor at Keck Graduate Institute School of Pharmacy and later held a full-time clinical position as a Diabetes Specialist at Hoag – Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center. Dr. Tran is an experienced ambulatory care pharmacist with a clinical focus on the management of chronic conditions. She is board certified in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, holds recognition as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist, and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
