Yes! Although there are no residency requirements or need to visit the campus for DMSc students, we have several ways for you to tour our campus if desired. Check the Events page for more details!
No, the DMSc program does not accept transfer students.
Foreign students may be accepted, however, all basis of admission must be completed at an institutionally accredited organizations in the United States.
Yes. All applicants must have earned a master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited PA program (or be on track to complete an acceptably accredited PA master’s degree prior to the DMSc start date) and be a board-certified PA by the NCCPA (or be on track to take and pass the PANCE prior to beginning the program). Those applying for the two-quarter bridge Advance Professional Practice concentration must have graduated from an ARC-PA accredited PA program within 24 months of matriculation into the DMSc program.
For applicants who graduated from their PA program with a baccalaureate degree, please note that completion of a postgraduate degree in a healthcare or medical discipline (or in an education discipline for those applying to the education track) from an institutionally accredited program will be required.
No, as long as you earned a master’s degree either from your ARC-PA accredited PA program, or a master’s or doctoral degree in a healthcare or medical discipline, (or in education for those applying for the PA education concentration), from an institutionally accredited program. Yes, applicants are required to have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale when applying.
No, neither the GRE nor any other exam is required for application.
Reference letters should not be from personal friends or family members. We strongly recommend a letter from a clinician you have known for at least six months.
No, prior experience does not earn applicants advanced placement.
From the time you apply and submit all required documents in support of your DMSc application, it will typically take three weeks for your final admissions decision to be reached by our Admissions Committee.
Yes, at MBKU we practice rolling admissions. Rolling admissions is the process where applicants are considered for a seat in the class as they apply. To maximize success in a rolling admissions cycle, students are encouraged to apply early to ensure they are considered before the class filled
