Step Into the Exam Room—Be a Simulated Patient at MBKU!
Curious what it’s like to be at the center of a healthcare team in action? Experience Interprofessional Education at Marshall B. Ketchum University by serving as a standardized (simulated) patient (SP) during our dynamic Super Sim IPE event! This immersive experience brings together approximately 200 students from our OD, PA, and PharmD programs as they collaborate in small interprofessional teams. Each group will spend 60 minutes working through a realistic patient encounter with you at the heart of the scenario, followed by a 20-minute guided debrief.
As a simulated patient, you’ll help students practice communication, clinical reasoning, teamwork, and compassionate care—core competencies essential to collaborative healthcare. No acting background required—just a willingness to participate and help shape the next generation of providers. Come be part of the learning. Your role makes a real impact!
In-person event | Shift 1 - 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Shift 2 - 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM - Sign up for one or both!
