Dr. Anjli Patel received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Nova Southeastern University and her Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science in Vision Science degrees from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Her graduate research examined vision-related quality of life in children with myopia managed with orthokeratology contact lenses versus single vision spectacles, with findings presented at the American Academy of Optometry and the Global Specialty Lens Symposium. As a Pediatric Optometry, Vision Therapy and Vision Rehabilitation resident, she provides care in a variety of clinical settings, including the Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Acquired Brain Injury, and Disability and Accessibility Clinics. In addition to clinical care, Dr. Patel serves as a teaching assistant in both lab and lecture courses at SCCO. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Patel is also passionate about community outreach and providing eye care to underserved populations locally and globally.
