Dawn Lam received her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Genetics and a Master of Science in Visual Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC Canada). She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry and completed her residency training in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the University of Houston, College of Optometry.
Dr. Lam is an Associate Professor at Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She is a full-time faculty member with didactic, laboratory and clinical teaching responsibilities in the Cornea and Contact Lens Service. She is also the coordinator of the cornea and contact lens residency at Ketchum Health. Her clinical interests are in keratoconus, orthokeratology, post-surgical corneas and ocular prosthetics. She is past-chair of the Association of Optometric Contact Lens Educators (AOCLE) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the contact lens section of the American Optometric Association.
