Emily earned her BA in Architecture and Visual Art from the University of Toronto, home to 44 beautiful libraries, an environment that inspired her career in librarianship. She went on to earn her Master of Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in health sciences librarianship. Before joining Marshall B. Ketchum University, Emily worked at North Carolina State University in Special Collections and Archives, and later at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the Systematic Reviews department. She now serves as a Health Sciences Librarian, supporting students and faculty through research assistance, information literacy instruction, and evidence-based practice.
