Erin Salcido has been a physician assistant since graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. She began her career as a trauma PA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, before returning to Southern California in 2006, where she practiced emergency medicine for over a decade. She now practices in urgent care.
Erin joined Marshall B. Ketchum University’s School of Physician Assistant Studies in July 2015. She teaches throughout the didactic phase of PA education. She also serves as the Director of Curriculum and Outcomes, leading efforts to evaluate and continuously improve the curriculum to support student learning and program effectiveness.
Erin is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the California Academy of PAs (CAPA), and the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).
