Lori Jacklin joined Marshall B. Ketchum University (MBKU) in 2017. She began her career in public accounting, spending 11 years as a financial statement auditor with Ernst & Young and a regional accounting firm. She subsequently held financial leadership roles as a finance director, controller, and chief financial officer across multiple organizations, building a broad foundation in financial management and organizational leadership.
Lori brings 19 years of nonprofit experience, spanning healthcare, youth development, and higher education. Prior to joining MBKU, she worked with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Boy Scouts of America. She is drawn to mission-driven organizations that make a meaningful difference in people's lives and is proud to support MBKU's mission through financial stewardship and administrative leadership.
Lori earned her bachelor's degree in accounting with honors from California State University, Fullerton, and her master's degree in accountancy from Boise State University in spring 2023, where she received the COBE Student Signature Award. Completing her graduate degree while balancing her professional and family responsibilities reinforced her belief that learning is a lifelong pursuit.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys weightlifting, live music, gardening, fiber arts, and vacationing with friends and family. She is a proud mother of two amazing kids and an animal lover with a home “zoo” that includes two dogs, two cats, and a bunny.
