Biography

Dr. Vanessa Rosales serves as the Administration Manager and Executive Assistant to the Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) Director at Marshall B. Ketchum University (MBKU). In this role, she provides strategic and operational leadership for the program, overseeing initiatives in program administration, state authorization, assessment, faculty and student services, and cross-functional operations.

Dr. Rosales’ career spans healthcare and higher education, reflecting a commitment to developing the next generation of professionals. She began her career as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics, gaining firsthand experience in patient care and healthcare operations. Building on this clinical foundation, she transitioned into higher education, dedicating her career to advancing student success and academic excellence. Before joining MBKU, Dr. Rosales served as Assistant Director of Health Professions at Loyola Marymount University, guiding aspiring healthcare professionals through the preparation and application process for medical, physician assistant, and other health professions programs. She has also held leadership roles in academic affairs, career development, and student services across multiple higher education institutions.

In addition to her administrative leadership, Dr. Rosales has taught undergraduate career development courses at Loyola Marymount University and graduate-level educational counseling courses at the University of La Verne, preparing future educators and student affairs professionals. Through her leadership, teaching, and administrative experience, Dr. Rosales is passionate about advancing innovative healthcare education and creating pathways that empower clinicians to become effective leaders, educators, and advocates. She is committed to advancing educational excellence that fosters student success, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
