Earlier last month, SPAS '19 students Ashley DeYoung, Tara Anderson, Lauren Kerstner and Julia Lee presented their Masters Capstone on a transformative topic, "Increasing awareness and access to #Naloxone through overdose response training and community education at a drug #rehabilitation facility." Tara Anderson shared, "I'm so extremely proud of my group and our efforts to help prevent death by opioid overdose, while also educating and empowering the community."

Our 2019 White Coat Ceremonies will be underway soon! All ceremonies will be available to watch on a Live Webcast at ketchum.edu/white-coat-ceremony (link in bio) and we'll begin with School of PA Studies at 9:30 - 11:30 am, College of Pharmacy at 12:30 - 2:30 pm and Southern California College of Optometry at 3:30 - 5:30 pm.

Last week, MBKU pharmacy students and faculty attended the 30th Annual Indian Pharmacists Association Tradeshow and Banquet. It was the perfect platform to excel in cultural competency; a purpose that all of us as healthcare providers aspire to today!
