We're not crying, you're crying ?Ryan Funai and fellow SCCO Class of 2022 had their first patient care experience with some special folks in their lives, "We’ve come a long way since we were first admitted into MBKU. We conducted our first comprehensive eye exams and most of the Class of 2022 chose close family relatives and friends to be our first patients. No matter what fumbles or awkward patient education we said, they sat as the most compliant and happy patients we could ask for. Thanks for supporting us on our journey to becoming doctors.

#fbf Earlier this month, @scco.ppc and @vspvisioncare hosted a festive dinner cruise along Newport Beach Habor and a networking social for SCCO students and local optometrists. Not a bad way to spend the evening! #PrivatePractice #MBKUAmbassador

Smiles and service go hand in hand for @mbku_lionsclub, "Lions in Sight teamed up with Community Presbyterian Church in Ethiopia and it was nothing short of amazing! Over 3,000 people were seen, 2,000 people received glasses, 1,000 pairs of sunglasses were dispensed, and over 300 cataract surgeries were documented in just 5 clinic days."

Check out the highlights of @ashpofficial Midyear Clinical Meeting 2019 from P-4 Sahar Matin, "Another great experience at #ASHP19; It was indeed bigger, brighter and more fun than ever! ASHP Midyear has provided me an avenue for updating my knowledge, networking with colleagues, enhancing my communication skills, and learning about various residencies and postgraduates opportunities! I also got to present two of my posters, which afforded me an excellent opportunity to share and pick up ideas that have been successful in health-system pharmacy." #MBKUAmbassador

One of our talented students, Caroline Quan, SCCO '22, was recently featured in @womenods and she shared how her passion for art and optometry coincided, “With art and all that I do in optometry, it’s about the story telling. The eyes and its blood vessels are telling a story about the rest of the patient’s body." http://bit.ly/2LPpxed
